Meet Bethany Marsh
Pain is real. But it isn’t always the whole story.
Maybe you’ve tried everything you can think of. Maybe you’ve learned to push through, ignore your body’s signals, or believe that this is simply how life has to be.
But what if your body isn’t working against you?
What if it’s been doing its best to protect you all along?
Hi, I’m Bethany.
Long before I knew this would become my life’s work, I was the little girl climbing trees, wandering through the woods, rescuing injured animals, and spending afternoons visiting the residents of the nursing home across the street from my childhood home. I didn’t know I was choosing a career… I simply knew I was drawn to easing suffering wherever I found it.
That calling led me into physical therapy, where I spent years helping people regain strength, movement, and hope. I worked with everyone from athletes recovering from injury to critically ill patients taking their first steps after life-threatening illness. Today, that journey has come full circle through my work in hospice, where I have the privilege of offering compassionate bodywork to people and their loved ones during one of life’s most sacred transitions.
Whether helping someone take their first steps toward recovery or gently supporting them at the end of life, these experiences have taught me something I’ll never forget:
Every body has a story.
Over time, my path expanded into massage therapy and intuitive, integrative bodywork. As I continued learning, I became increasingly fascinated by the connection between the body, the nervous system, our emotions, and the experiences that shape us.
Then life invited me into my own healing journey.
Like many people, I reached a point where I realized I couldn’t continue living disconnected from myself. That journey changed not only how I cared for my own body, but how I show up for every person who trusts me with theirs. It deepened my understanding that healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about gently returning to who we’ve always been beneath the layers of stress, pain, fear, and survival.
Today, my work is grounded in one simple belief: I don’t believe people are broken.
I believe our bodies adapt brilliantly to everything we’ve lived through. Sometimes those adaptations show up as chronic pain, tension, exhaustion, burnout, or patterns that no longer serve us.
Our bodies tell the story of the lives we’ve lived.
My role isn’t to “fix” you.
My role is to create a space where your body can soften, your nervous system can feel safe, and your own capacity for healing can begin to emerge. I believe that true healing happens when we bring the body, mind, emotions, and spirit back into relationship with one another—not just understanding ourselves intellectually, but truly embodying that connection.
My work is to help people reconnect with the wholeness that has always been within them.
Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain, recovering from stress or burnout, navigating a life transition, or simply longing to feel more at home in your own body, You Are Welcome Here.
Wherever you are on your journey, it would be an honor to walk alongside you!
